Shift report
How it works
Tap start and DriveTracks records your mileage stopwatch-style — an accurate GPS trail in the background, screen off, phone in the mount, with a visible notification the whole time.
Mark pickups, dropoffs, and stages as you go, then match each trip to its platform payout so every mile is tied to what it paid.
See net profit after vehicle costs and a tax reserve, per hour and per mile — then export it. No spreadsheet wrangling.
Features
A reliable trail with the screen off, powered by a foreground location service — never silent, always with a notification.
Pickup, dropoff, and stage markers, plus reconcile recorded trips against your gig-platform payouts.
Set money aside for federal income, Social Security, and Medicare using the IRS standard mileage rate.
Fuel and MPG, maintenance, tires, insurance, and more — so you see a true cost per mile, not a guess.
A clear chart of when a shift turned profitable — and when it didn't.
The numbers that actually let you compare shifts, platforms, and times of day.
Your data, no lock-in. Hand a clean report to your accountant whenever you need it.
Nothing to sign up for. Your data never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it.

Your data stays yours
Everything lives on your device — there's no DriveTracks login or backend. Recording only happens during a shift you start, always with a visible notification, and you can export everything. That's the whole point.
A look inside
Record each shift with distance, speed, and pinned markers along the route.
Link each trip to its gig payout so every drive is tied to what it earned.
Payouts minus driving costs and tax — a clear net-profit breakdown.
FAQ
No. DriveTracks only records during a shift you start, and stops when you end it — with a visible notification the entire time. There's no always-on tracking.
It uses Android's efficient location service tuned for long shifts. You can also limit location to "while using" if you prefer — recording simply pauses when the app is fully backgrounded.
There's no DriveTracks account or server. Your shifts stay on your device and only leave when you export or share a report yourself.
Yes. You enter each platform's payout and DriveTracks matches it to the trip, so it works alongside any gig app.
Yes — CSV, Excel, and PDF, anytime.
Android comes first (beta soon). An iPhone version isn't available yet.
The free version shows banner ads in menu screens only — never while you're recording a shift — and they don't use your precise location or an advertising ID. Pro removes ads entirely.
Tracking your mileage is free — no account needed. The free version is supported by the menu ads above; a Pro subscription (monthly or annual) removes ads and unlocks the expense, tax, and profit tools plus accountant-ready PDF and Excel reports. Pricing is announced at launch.
